5 Life Hacks to Simplify Your Life

We live in a complex world. From politics and economics to our own psychology and emotional awareness (or lack thereof), things are getting bogged down in disinformation and propaganda that distract us from the fact that most of us don t really know ourselves, let alone how to live a simple, happy life. Here, I will share with you 5 life hacks to declutter, detox, demystify, and otherwise simplify your life, so that you no longer feel overwhelmed by the onslaught of torrents seeking to grab hold of your attention and steal the force of your awareness. 1. Spend Quality Alone Time Most people spend so much time filling their schedules with appointments, dates, and other engagements, to distract themselves from the emptiness they truly feel inside, so they create a false send of fulfillment by busying themselves with the presences of other people, validating their contentment. Stop Waiting for Inspiration to Be Creative

As a writer, I have experienced the dreaded writer s block many times. Upon reading many books on creativity and inspiration, I can now successfully conjure up the inspiration to write anything at will. It s not something I can do instantly yet, but pretty darn close. As an athlete, I know all too well how letting your nerves get the best of you can hinder your ability to do things that are second nature to you. People who go out in front others have devoted countless hours to practice before they ever step out onto the field, stage, or wherever their performance is taking place. They know exactly how to do what they are about to attempt, it has become what s known as muscle memory, yet some of them choke. Why? Psychology of the Impossible They begin thinking about all of t

Finding Your Ideal Exercise

We all know that physical exercise does the body good, but did you also know that the longer you sit on the couch, in front of the computer, or even standing in front of a cash register (that s right, standing is almost as bad for you) the worse it is for you? It is no secret that living a sedentary life is good for no one, both physically and mentally. Not only does your body wear down, but so does your mind. According to recent studies your neurological health is also affected by the amount of physical exercise you get on a daily basis, or lack thereof. Yet, even knowing all of that, who wants to work out, really? I for one despise the actual act of going to the gym, the track, my living room, wherever I might be going to do this dreadful thing called working out. But here s the secret: it doesn t have to be this way! Working Out vs. Exercise
